How a Repair Runs Here
Six steps. The one that matters most is the second, because on a laminated body what you can see is a fraction of what the repair actually involves.
Damage Assessment and Insurance Review
Bring the vehicle to the Yorba Linda shop. We walk the damage with you, pull the panels that hide fasteners, and photograph what we find. Collision assessments carry no charge for insurance walk-ins. Systems estimates carry a fee that is credited against an authorized repair.
Teardown and Hidden Damage Documentation
On a laminated body, what you can see is rarely the whole repair. We tear down before the estimate is finalized so structural damage lands on the first sheet instead of arriving later as a supplement that stalls your claim.
Estimate and Carrier Coordination
We write the estimate against posted rates, calculate oversized panel refinish manually because no estimating guide covers a 40-foot panel, and submit directly to your insurer. You are not the middleman.
Repair
Structural, body, paint, fiberglass, electrical, and systems work all happen in this building. Your vehicle is not shuttled between three vendors, and no one is waiting on another shop schedule.
Reassembly and Systems Test
Everything that came apart goes back together and gets tested. Slides cycle, systems run, and anything with driver assistance gets scanned and recalibrated before it leaves.
Final Walk and Delivery
We walk the finished work with you before you sign anything. Run the systems, look at the panel fit, and drive it. We stand behind every repair.
Questions about the process
Why tear down before finalizing the estimate?
On a laminated body, visible damage is a fraction of actual damage. Estimating from photos produces a number that falls apart during repair and turns into supplements that stall your claim for weeks. Teardown first is slower on day one and faster overall.
Who talks to my insurance company?
We do. We submit the estimate, handle supplement requests, and provide the photo documentation adjusters need. You are welcome to be involved, but you are not required to be the intermediary.
What happens if you find more damage mid-repair?
We document it, photograph it, and submit a supplement before proceeding. We do not perform unauthorized work and then present a larger bill.
Do I get updates?
Yes. Long structural jobs move in stages and we contact you at each one. If you want more frequent updates, say so at intake and we will accommodate it.
