Why Owners Drive Past Closer Shops

Six concrete reasons, none of which are slogans.

Everything happens in one building

Structural, body, paint, fiberglass, electrical, plumbing, and fabrication are all in house. Your vehicle is not shuttled between three vendors, and no part of the job waits on another shop schedule. That is the practical reason a 35,000 square foot facility exists.

We tear down before quoting

On laminated construction, an estimate written from photographs is a guess. We pull the panels that hide fasteners first, so hidden damage lands on the first estimate instead of arriving three weeks later as a supplement that stalls your claim.

Length is not a constraint

Bays are sized for 45-foot coaches with clear height for rooftop air conditioners and room to open slides for inspection. The most common reason a body shop declines RV work is that the vehicle physically will not fit.

Rates are published

The full labor rate card and roughly 150 catalog line items are on the prices page. Most shops will not do this. It saves everyone the discovery call where the number turns out to be triple what the customer expected.

We know the claim side

We write the estimate, submit it, handle supplements, and bill directly. Teardown labor, oversized panel refinish, and recalibration all belong on the sheet, and getting them there is a conversation we have with your insurer rather than one you have to have.

We work on what others decline

Owner conversions, vintage units, prior bad repairs, and heavily modified rigs. We inspect what is behind the panel before quoting, because on these vehicles that drives the hours far more than the visible damage does.

Common questions

What makes an RV shop different from a body shop?

Construction. A car is steel or aluminum panels on a structure designed to be repaired. An RV is laminated fiberglass bonded over foam and luan on an aluminum cage. Repairing it like a car produces a repair that fails within a few seasons.

Do you outsource any of the work?

No major repair leaves the building. Structural, body, paint, fiberglass, electrical, plumbing, and fabrication all happen here. That is the point of a 35,000 square foot facility.

How long have you been doing this?

The shop has operated since 2015 under California BAR license ARD00288521 and EPA identification CAL000367879. Both numbers are public record and worth checking on any shop you are considering, not just this one. A BAR license is the minimum bar for anyone doing collision work in California.

What if I am not happy with the repair?

Tell us before you sign anything and we address it. We walk the finished work with every customer for exactly that reason. We stand behind every repair.

Bring it to the shop

Collision assessments carry no charge and insurance walk-ins are welcome. Call the shop or send the details and we will tell you honestly what the repair involves.
